It's the Law! Boaters in Ontario are required to carry a Pleasure Craft Operator Card*, commonly known as an Ontario Boating License when operating any motorized boat, regardless of age, size of boat or engine horsepower. When you obtain your boating license you will gain the knowledge to boat safely, boat with confidence and boat legally in Canada. Once obtained, the Official Pleasure Craft Operator Card is good for life and valid in all Canadian provinces! Boaters caught without the card* could face a minimum $250 fine.
